Heroin doesn’t discriminate.

Depression isn’t invited to dinner parties.

Anxiety isn’t just about running late to work.

AN EPIDEMIC

Addiction and mental health issues plague our nation. If you took a random poll, I’d imagine that you couldn’t look to your left or right and find someone that hasn’t been directly or indirectly afflicted. Yet, we don’t talk about it. Instead, we stigmatize it and shame people for battling diseases that shouldn’t be fought alone.

A MISSION

SeaqHelp’s mission is to take that silence and turn it into a platform for change. A platform that allows people to live open and honest lives. A platform that provides for underfunded programs and organizations.

The Truth

“Opioids were involved in 47.6k overdose deaths in 2017 -- a sixfold increase from 1999.”

— US Centers for disease control

“Major Depressive Disorder affects more than 16.1 million American adults, or about 6.7% of the U.S. population age 18 and older in a given year.”

-Anxiety and Depression Association of America

“Generalized Anxiety Disorder affects 6.8 million adults, yet only 43.2% are receiving treatment.”

-Anxiety and Depression Association of America
