We don’t discuss the real issues that plague our population - both young and old. Mental illness is running rampant and the world seems at a loss with the opioid epidemic. And very few people are talking about it. It’s time that changes.

With the SH! campaign, we’re going to do just that.

How can you get involved?

1.

Do you or a loved one suffer daily with addiction, anxiety, depression or an under the surface illness that gets brushed off as a “you” problem? Are you ready to change that?

Yeah, us too.

2.

Do you believe that if someone reaches out for help, they deserve a chance at correcting their course?

Yeah, us too.

3.

Are you willing to commit to just one day a year where you connect with someone who may need help, seaq help for your own struggles, or simply wear it on your sleeve and be proud to be living the struggle, but fighting your fight every day?

Yeah, us too. You’re a badass and let’s do this.

Each year on June 21st, do one of the following:

  • Post a photo of yourself on social media describing an issue that you’re dealing with. Big or small. Describe how it makes you feel and how you’re fighting it everyday. Aim to inspire someone who may be dealing with something similar. Make the SH! symbol and use the hashtag #SeaqHelp

  • Send a text to someone that you know is going through something that could use an extra note of encouragement. Reach out to someone and offer help, support or advice. You’ll be happy you did.

  • Write a positive note of encouragement for yourself or a loved one in a SeaqHelp notebook.

  • Do all of the above and be an overachiever.
